The Daoist Foundation (Daojiao jijin hui 道教基金會) is a non-profit religious and educational
organization dedicated to preserving and transmitting traditional Daoist (Taoist)
culture. This includes but is not limited to providing Daoist religious training
for participating members, educating the general public about the Daoist religious
tradition and related health practices, and establishing a viable Daoist community
in America that includes ordained clergy members. The Daoist Foundation serves as
an umbrella organization that includes the Center for Daoist Studies (research and
education), the Daoist Ministry (community outreach and spiritual direction), the
Clarity-and-Stillness Order (Daoist religious order), and a variety of local Daoist
associations (community meeting places).
