At the present time, our Daoist community consists primarily of lay practitioners. Most members follow the path of a householder, including working within American society.
We have not yet trained or initiated anyone in the Clarity and Stillness Order (C.S.O.). However, such training will eventually be offered to sincere and dedicated community members. After passing through the preliminary gates of Daoist practice, individuals with the affinity will receive intensive and integrated Daoist clerical training. This training will result in investiture and ordination, in the formation of an American Daoist clergy. Lineage standing in the Clarity and Stillness Order consists of specific commitments, responsibilities and designations.
